Barn conversion: We wished to convert an old toolhouse , boiler house and dairy, attached to the farmhouse, into a utility area, downstairs shower and toilet, and an extra bedroom. Ronnie, Karl, Lee, and William used their great skill and experience to overcome all the unexpected problems that a project like this brings. They followed the architect's plans closely to bring the building up to modern building regulations, and passed each building control inspection without problems. The standard of the finish and attention to detail were very high, and we are very pleased with the result. As members of the Federation of Master Builders they drew up a contract with clear pricing and this was discharged in a very professional manner. I don't have any hesitation in thoroughly recommending Ashe & Sons if you are considering building work, be it refurbishment, extension, or new build.

This was a complete refit including a new room and roof of a mid- terrace house. We had started to do the work ourselves but realised we needed help. Ashe and Sons were very professional from the start. The quotation was properly broken down so we knew what work was included, and we had a proper contract. Lee and his team went the extra mile and we are extremely pleased with the quality of the work they have done.

Ashe & Sons recently completed a single storey bedroom extension and outdoor paving for us. They did an excellent job . They started the job exactly when they indicated they would and showed great commitment to complete the job without delay . They were meticulous and took great care to make sure all aspects of the work met our expectations. They even went the extra mile without charging more when we asked them to do some additional works about the house . They were helpful and courteous and the site was left clean and tidy when the works were complete. There was a real sense that they took great pride in their work and finished everything to a very high standard We would have no hesitation in Recommending Lee and his team and will definitely engage them again for any work we need done .

It's so hard to find a builder and a good one in particular. We were lucky to find Ashe & Sons. Excellent service from first contact, through quoting, consulting on issues as they went along and on to completion. We had external and internal works done and all were carried out to a high standard. We felt we got a great job done and had good value for money. Also good communication with the team throughout. And, they clear up after themselves! Very satisfied.

I had work done recently by Ashe & Sons which involved replacing a large cill, external dashing, removal and replacment of oak skirtings, and removing oak doors (some solid and others with glass panels) and sizing doors to fit new carpets. I can genuinely say that every job undertaken by Lee and his team was finished to the highest standard. The pebbledash work is so perfect that you would struggle to see where the old dash meets the new. Sizing the large solid oak doors was done professionally and will a great deal of care and attention, resulting in a first class finish. I don't normally leave reviews, but in this case I wanted to make my views known to the wider public as this company are, quite simply, the best I have ever dealt with. I have been involved in the building world for many years in my Architectural career, and can say with confidence that they are the best team I have ever encountered and highly recommend.

I had used Ashe and Sons to renovate two bathrooms and dampproofing a room. They do a fantastic job with all their work, they are very experienced, professional and honest builders. Would highly recommend for any big or small job its never a problem to them.
